Tour Description

The Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tour is a multi-country tour that provides the opportunity to explore the natural beauty and cultural diversity of three Himalayan nations at once. Although Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan share some similarities, they also have significant differences. All three countries have stunning views of mountains, temples, stupas, monasteries, and old monuments that reflect the authentic Buddhism religion that prevails in those nations. However, the terrain and type of Buddhism practiced in each country differ.

The tour starts with a visit to Nagarkot, a beautiful hill station near Kathmandu city, where you can enjoy panoramic views of mountains and lush landscapes. After that, you will visit UNESCO-listed heritage sites in Kathmandu such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. The next destination is Lhasa, the administrative center of the Autonomous Region of Tibet, where you can explore the Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace, Sera and Drepung Monastery, and Jokhang Temple.

Finally, in Bhutan, you can visit places of significance such as Ta Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Lhakhang, National Library, Institute for Zorig Chusum, Textile Museum, and Trashichhoedzong. The Nepal Tibet Bhutan Tour concludes with a flight back to Kathmandu city for your departure. Our itinerary includes visiting the Ta Dzong and Kichu Lhakhang, where the former was initially a watchtower that has been converted into a national museum, while the latter is one of the oldest temples in the country. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew to this place on the back of a tiger to meditate in a cave here, and the monastery stands in the same place where he meditated. After exploring the monastery and taking in the spectacular views of Paro Valley, we descend to Paro city for lunch.
