Day 2 : Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara
After breakfast, we catch an early morning tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The drive usually takes 7-8 hours with three stops in between for lunch and toilet breaks. Upon reaching Pokhara we will check in our hotel (Hotel Mera Peak/ Pokhara View) and roam around Lakeside.
Day 3 : Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Ulleri (2050m /6724 ft)
We will leave our Pokhara hotel after breakfast and head towards Nayapul by private vehicle. From Nayapul our hike starts to Ulleri via Birethanti and Tikhedhunga. We will check in the trekking permits and start walking through beautiful villages and green hills.
Todays trek is mostly uphill and takes around 4 hours to complete. Upon reaching Ulleri we will check in our teahouses and stay overnight in cozy teahouses.
Day 4 : Trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2880 m/ 9446 ft)
Today's trek will take you from Ulleri to Ghorepani (2880 m), which takes about 5-6 hours. You will be trekking through lush rhododendron and oak forests, and across some suspension bridges. Ghorepani is a beautiful hill station surrounded by panoramic views of the mountains.
You will stay overnight in a lodge.
Day 5 : Hike to Poon Hill (3192m) and Trek to Tadapani (2675m)
Today, you will start early for a sunrise hike to Poon Hill (3192m). From the hilltop, you will have breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After admiring the views, you will return to Ghorepani for breakfast. From there, you will continue your trek to Tadapani (2675m), which takes about 4-5 hours. You will stay overnight in a lodge.
Day 6 : Trek from Tadapani to Chomrong (2170m)
After breakfast, you will trek from Tadapani to Chomrong (2170m), which takes about 4-5 hours. The trek is a bit challenging as you will descend steeply to the Modi Khola River and then climb up again to Chomrong. Chomrong is a beautiful Gurung village, surrounded by stunning mountain views. You will stay overnight in a lodge.
Day 7 : Trek from Chomrong to Dovan (2600m)
Today's trek will take you from Chomrong to Dovan (2600m), which takes about 5-6 hours. You will be walking through dense rhododendron forests and across some suspension bridges. Dovan is a small village surrounded by beautiful mountain views. You will stay overnight in a lodge.
Day 8 : Trek from Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m)
After breakfast, you will trek from Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m), which takes about 5-6 hours. You will be walking through dense forests and across some suspension bridges. Machhapuchhre Base Camp is surrounded by stunning mountain views, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). You will stay overnight in a lodge.
Day 9 : Explore Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m) and Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m)
After breakfast, the trail heads towards Machhapuchhre Base Camp, surrounded by the majestic peaks of Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, and Fishtail. From here, the trek continues to Annapurna Base Camp, a destination for trekkers from around the world. The trail passes through terraced fields and forests of rhododendron, finally reaching Annapurna Base Camp for an overnight stay.
Day 10 : Trek from Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m)
The trek continues from Annapurna Base Camp, retracing steps back to Bamboo. The journey passes through the scenic Modi Khola Valley, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. You'll also witness beautiful settlements, jungle, woodlands, and towering trees on your way to Bamboo. After a long day of trekking, overnight stay at Bamboo.
Day 11 : Trek from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) and head towards hot spring.
Today, the trek continues from Bamboo to Jhinu Danda, where visitors can enjoy a hot spring bath. After soaking in the warm waters, with a relaxed body we will head toward the guesthouse at Jhinu Danda and stay overnight.
Day 12 : Drive Back to Pokhara (820m)
Free and relaxing day on Pokhara where you can explore the area on your own.
Day 13 : Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
On the final day of your Annapurna Basecamp with Poonhill Trek, you will return to Kathmandu by a Private vehicle. On your way to Kathmandu, you'll witness beautiful mountains and valleys and have a life-time experience that you're going to cherish forever. You will be dropped off at the hotel after that you can do some shopping for your loved ones, back at your home and after that we will have a Typical Nepali farewell dinner while discussing about the trek.
