Today you will fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj, a journey that takes about an hour. During the flight, you will be able to enjoy stunning views of the Himalayas. Once you arrive in Nepalgunj, you will have some free time to explore the area and acclimatize to the warmer weather. You can visit some of the local markets and try some of the delicious local food.
Day 3 : Flight from Nepalgunj to Talcha Airport (2,735m/8,973ft) and trek to Rara Lake (2,990m/9.810ft)
After a flight from Nepalgunj to Talcha Airport, you will begin your trek to Rara Lake. The trail starts through the beautiful pine and oak forests, and you will come across several small villages on your way. You will get to experience the local culture and lifestyle of the people living in these remote areas.
