During these treks, you won’t only enjoy the views of the peaks and other landscapes but also get the opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the local ethnic groups along the route.

Packing List For Trekking In Nepal
Sleeping Gear
- Sleeping bag (temperature rating should be –15 °C on average)
- Sleeping pad
- Sleeping Bag Liner
- Travel Pillow
- Tent (needed only for camping trip)
Hiking Use
- Backpack (at least 55L in capacity)
- Duffle bag (if you have a lot of stuff and want to hire a porter)
- Waterproof trekking shoes
- A few pairs of thin socks
- A quality trekking full-sleeve t-shirt and pants
- A pair of trekking poles for your knee support
- Compass and map (These are optional because, as per the new law, you aren’t allowed to solo trek and must hire a guide)
- Cap, buff mask, and thin gloves (To protect the face and hands from the harmful UV rays)
- Water and windproof jacket (in case the weather gets suddenly cold)
- Raincoat and boot gaiter
- UV protection sunglasses
- Headlamp with extra batteries for an early morning hike
- Enough snacks, such as protein bars, chocolates, cookies, dry fruits, etc
- A hard plastic water bottle to store both hot and cold water. Highly recommended brand, Nalgene
- Crampons (for winter trek)
- Extra plastic bags to keep your necessary items in case of rain and to store your waste.
Hotel Use
- A woollen hat
- Down jacket rated for temperatures at least below -15
- Pair of down gloves
- Normal t-shirt and trousers
- Thermal set
- Down pants (depends on the weather and elevation)
- Woolen socks
- Sleeper, sandal, or normal shoes
- High neck sweater
- Enough undergarments
- Sporty Towel
